Marketing Intern • Austin, Texas
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll provide organizational and administrative support to keep our marketing and administrative team operating effectively. You’ll help the team with database management, Mailchimp management, content creation, general administrative tasks, and more.
You’ll gain first-hand experience managing programs, partners, and communications with our Hubspot database.
You’ll contribute to outreach and lead generation efforts to forge new partners for our national Lighthouse Victim Identification Initiative.
You’ll maintain vital information and documentation about current partnerships to keep our records in top shape in Hubspot.
You’ll hone your marketing skills by preparing materials, managing social media and executing marketing campaigns.
You'll support the team in various administrative tasks that keep the org running every day.
You'll assist with special projects as needed.

Creating structure out of chaos makes you happy. You are proficient with Excel, Mailchimp, and and can quickly learn new data/project tools. You believe an hour organizing something is an hour well spent and that a job isn’t done until it’s done right.
You’ll start either in August or September and commit until December. We’ll need you for 10-20 hours a week, and we’re flexible to work with your class or work schedule. Access to transportation is strongly preferred. This position is unpaid, but we’re happy to work with your institution to provide academic credit.
