How can social innovation close Austin's growing divide?
On June 3, join nonprofit leaders, mission-driven businesses, engaged citizens and government officials for a discussion on how to address Austin’s pressing social issues through fresh, innovative approaches.
AustinNext will challenge Austin to expand its thinking on how we address our city's growing divide and our most pressing social problems, such as affordable housing, education, homelessness and poverty. In collaboration with Leadership Austin, we’re convening business, philanthropic, civic and nonprofit leaders for a hands-on, hyper-local discussion on innovative approaches to lasting social change in our community. Mayor Steve Adler will open the dialogue by highlighting the critical importance of social innovation, and inspire the audience with his vision and rationale for making Austin a Social Innovation Capital.
